Charming Stay with Amazing River Views
We enjoyed a peaceful night in a stylish double room with breathtaking river views. The highlight was the Sunday Carvery—four perfectly cooked meats. I wish the breakfast staff were friendlier, but the overall charm makes it a place I'd love to revisit. Tip, Relax on the terrace during sunset!

Had a fantastic stay with friends! We enjoyed exploring local tennis courts and catching a rugby game nearby. It was great to relax at the inn after our adventures. The location is perfect, right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, making it ideal for hikes or short trips. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our experience even better.
The only downside was the shower size in our room, making it tricky to pick up dropped items without opening the door.

Stunning river views and great breakfast
I recently enjoyed a lovely one-night stay at a charming inn right by the River Dart. The views from my room were absolutely stunning, and the sound of the river added to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly, and breakfast was exceptionally good, with a delicious vegan option that left a lasting impression. I found the room a bit smaller than expected.

The Abbey provided a comfortable room with a lovely view of the River Dart. I appreciated the free parking and the proximity to local attractions, including the steam railway. The staff were accommodating by allowing me to order takeout to the bar, which made my rainy evening more enjoyable.
